This allows each session to be thoughtfully curated with the time, creativity, and care it deserves—while giving you a seamless and elevated booking experience from the very start.
How it works:
You choose the month you’re hoping to book your session
You’ll be notified on the 1st of each month, before bookings open to the public, giving you first access to reserve your spot. For example, if you want a June session, you’ll be contacted on May 1st.
If all sessions fill before you get a chance to book, you’ll stay on the list in case of cancellations or early access to the following month.
Joining the waitlist doesn’t lock you into anything—it simply gives you priority access to my calendar before the rest of the world sees it. Think of it as your personal invite to the dog photography experience we’ve both been dreaming up.

What exactly is the waitlist?
Due to the high demand for pet portrait sessions, this waitlist allows me to maintain a balanced workflow while giving you early access to book your session before availability opens to the public. By submitting your interest, you’re securing a priority spot, helping me manage bookings efficiently and ensuring everyone can secure a session in a timely manner.
Does submitting the form guarantee a session?
No, submitting the form does not guarantee a session. Availability is limited each month, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis once bookings open. However, you’ll get priority access to secure your spot when dates are released.
How will I know when bookings open?
You’ll receive an email on the 1st of the month before your preferred session month (e.g., if you're hoping for a June session, you'll be contacted on May 1st). This email will be your first opportunity to book before dates are made available to the public.
How many sessions are available each month?
Each month, I offer a carefully limited number of spots—typically around 6-8 sessions, depending on the season—to ensure that every client receives the full attention, creativity, and time they deserve. This allows me to dedicate myself fully to each session and maintain the high quality of work that I’m known for.
What if I don’t have a preferred month?
No worries! Simply choose the earliest available month, and we’ll work together to create something truly special.
I’ll be travelling to your area in a few months but want to plan ahead, can I still book a session that far out?
Absolutely! I’m always so honored when people travel to me for a session—it's not something I take lightly. If you're planning ahead, feel free to reach out to me directly with your travel dates and I’ll do my best to accommodate you. I know how much coordination goes into trips like this, so I’m more than happy to chat and see what we can do!
What happens after I secure a spot on the calendar?
After selecting your preferred date, it will be temporarily reserved and removed from my availability calendar. However, we’ll still need to connect to ensure we’re a perfect match for your session! You will be contacted shortly afterwards and will receive a small questionnaire as well as a location guide to help plan the details of your shoot. Once we finalize session details, a 50% non-refundable retainer will be required to officially lock in your session and remove it from my availability calendar.
