“Andrea did an amazing job making my girl River look beautiful 😍 we've been struggling with environmental allergies for river, and you could barely tell her skin was affected at all. My dog is only 2.5 so here puppy listening skills are still full adhd but Andrea was great and patient with her. We will definitely be back for more!!!!”

“Andrea photographed my German Shepherd at Chilliwack Lake and the end results left me speechless! She is extremely generous with her time during the shoot and really excelled at capturing Freddie's personality. I will treasure these photos forever! Thank you Andrea!”

FAQs

What if my dog can’t be off leash?

This is not a problem. In fact, the majority of the dogs you see in my photos are ON leash! Yes, you read that right. With advanced editing software, removing leashes and collars has never been easier. We can absolutely work around this. :)

Do you work with reactive/fearful dogs?

Absolutely. My own dog, Marin, is reactive toward other dogs, so I deeply understand how overwhelming it can feel to bring a sensitive pup into new environments. Because of her, I’ve discovered beautiful, quiet locations with minimal distractions—perfect for helping your dog feel safe and relaxed. During the planning phase, we’ll chat through your dog’s specific needs and comfort levels to ensure the session is calm, positive, and entirely tailored to them. Your dog’s well-being comes first, always.

👯‍♀️ Up to 2 dogs from the same household ($75 for each additional pup)
📖 A pre-shoot guide outlining what to expect and how to prepare
🖼 A private online proofing gallery where you can choose your favorite images, with the option to purchase more

What does the gallery process look like?

Within 7 days of your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery filled with the best images from our time together—these are all unedited photos selected for their strong potential to meet my high editing standards. I’ll also include a few fully edited previews so you can get a feel for the final look and style of the final photos. From here, you’ll choose your 5 favorite images to go to the final editing stages (with the option to purchase additional ones if you'd like). Once I receive your selections, the final gallery will be ready within 4–6 weeks.

What time of day do you plan sessions for?

Beautiful light is everything in my work—it's what brings that dreamy, magical feel to your dog’s portraits. Because of that, I plan sessions around the most flattering natural light, typically during golden hour—shortly after sunrise or just before sunset. If the day is overcast or moody (which can also be stunning!), I may shift the session slightly to take full advantage of the soft, even light. We’ll chat through all of this during the planning process so your pup gets their moment to shine in the most beautiful setting possible.

How long does a session take?

Most sessions last between 1 to 1.5 hours on-location, but I always reserve up to 2 hours just in case your dog needs a little extra time to settle in. Every dog is different, and I want to make sure we move at their pace—never rushed, always relaxed. Think of it less like a photoshoot and more like a little adventure. We'll chat, explore, play, and let your pup warm up naturally so I can capture them as their most comfortable self.

Do you travel for sessions?

Absolutely! While I’m based in Chilliwack, BC, I’m more than happy to travel within BC to help bring your vision to life—whether that’s a mountain meadow, a windswept beach, or a spot that’s meaningful to you and your dog. Travel within 50km of Chilliwack is included, and anything beyond that may incur a travel fee. If you have a specific location in mind, just reach out through my Contact page—I’d love to hear about it and see what’s possible!

I live in the States—can I hire you to come here for a session?

As much as I’d love to, I’m unable to offer sessions within the U.S. due to work visa restrictions. However, I regularly welcome clients from across the States—including California, Colorado, Kansas, and beyond—who travel to beautiful British Columbia for a one-of-a-kind experience with their dog. If you’ve been dreaming of a session together, I’d absolutely love to help you plan a visit to my area!
